CIPAce™ Integration with Financial Software Packages
Project related financial data plays an integral role in Capital Program Management. Hence, a seamless integration between CIPAce™ technology and your chosen financial management system is crucial to the successful deployment of our CIPAce™ application. CIPPlanner has developed an Extended Financial Integration Module and accumulated extensive experience in financial system integration given its crucial role to accurate and effective capital project and program management. Such Extended Financial Integration Module is an adaptor, receiving Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) requests from CIPPlanner’s software platform to interact with third-party financial applications. The interaction is based on the CIPAce™ API specification and other financial applications’ APIs or connection specifications.
Its features include synchronous and asynchronous bidirectional interactions, standard and customized application objects for all applications, automatic capture of metadata for service interaction, XML transactions over service interactions with application systems, detailed logging mechanism, secured parameters and security controls, XML data mapping between application objects, data import and export, real time interaction or scheduled data transfers, and more!
CIPAce™ Web API
CIPPlanner has also developed a dynamic system integration API to ensure effective integrations with third-party software packages that are not natively supported by the CIPAce™ platform. The CIPAce™ Web API utilizes web services API, providing a mechanism that facilitates the exchange of data over internet/intranet. Using open protocols and interfaces, CIPAce™ Web services remove the complexity usually associated with the exchange of data with such third-party software application systems.
CIPAce™ Web API comes with a standard stack of API templates for integrating with external applications or data sources on a real time or batch basis. The Web API supports industry standards for data formats, such as XML, Excel, and even simple ASCII. CIPPlanner also maintains ongoing engagements and collaborations with other technologies and industry partners, such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Tyler Technologies, and Laserfiche, to continuously enhance the capability and adaptability of our Web API integration tool.
The CIPAce™ Web API has not only constructed to the highest standards for seamless integration with various third-party software packages, but also proven to a very effective tool for successfully delivering various such integration products throughout vast majority if not all of our CIPAce™ application system implementations over the years. The CIPAce™ Web API, while powerful, is also secure against data tampering and supports multiple types of security and authentication methods to safeguard our customers’ data and conform with their security protocols.
