San Antonio Water System was created in May 1992 through the consolidation of the City Water Board, City Wastewater Department, and Alamo Water Conservation and Reuse District. Since formation, San Antonio has been recognized for its leadership in conservation and proactive waters supply management. San Antonio Water System serves more than 1.6 million people, including 460,000 water customers and 411,000 wastewater customers. Our CIPAce application system manages an annual capital program of $400 million.
