CIPAce application system initiates Phase IV of New York City Department of Transportation’s Contract and Project Management System (CPMS), ushering in a comprehensive construction contract management solution tailored to oversee DOT’s contract lifecycle.
With a Capital Program five-year budget exceeding $14.4 billion, NYCDOT directs significant resources to the Division of Bridges, allocating the largest portion of its total budget to this division. In 2018, CIPPlanner and NYCDOT Division of Bridges collaborated to develop a solution for managing the city’s multi-billion-dollar contract lifecycle. CIPAce emerged as the Division’s Darling, introducing solutions equipped to handle the intricate processes essential for maintaining and improving the bridges and tunnels of one of the nation’s busiest and most historically significant cities.
Phase IV commenced in March 2023, integrating project cost estimation and solicitation bid management functionalities from Phase I with a complete construction contract management and invoicing module designed to streamline financial processes across multiple divisions and organizations. Excitement is building ahead of Phase IV’s anticipated deployment in late 2024.
