CIPAce™ expands its equipment and tool inventory management capabilities, providing greater control over resource allocation, tracking, and accuracy.

Key improvements include:

  • Equipment reservation enhancements, with datetime precision and calendar-based views for better scheduling visibility and conflict avoidance
  • Automatic equipment selection based on availability and reservation data, reducing manual effort
  • Streamlined equipment issuance, including auto-selection of reserved items and flexible return time extensions
  • Inventory adjustment tools to maintain accurate records and reduce discrepancies
  • Support for rotating assets, enabling better tracking and lifecycle management of interchangeable equipment

These updates help ensure that equipment is efficiently allocated, accurately tracked, and readily available to support maintenance operations

Asset Downtime Tracking and Failure Management

This release also introduces powerful capabilities for monitoring asset downtime and failure performance, giving organizations deeper insight into asset reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

Downtime tracking features allow users to:

  • Log and manage planned and unplanned downtime events
  • Update asset operational status in real time
  • Track downtime history and performance trends

In addition, new failure management tools provide structured and consistent reporting through standardized failure codes and classifications. This enables more accurate identification of issues and supports targeted maintenance strategies.

Key performance metrics such as Mean Downtime (MDT), Availability, Reliability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) are automatically calculated, helping organizations evaluate asset performance and optimize maintenance planning.

Together, these enhancements provide a more comprehensive view of asset health, enabling proactive maintenance and improved operational reliability.
