Job Responsibilities

The Capital Program Management Consultant role serves as a domain expert in capital programs and projects management.  Responsibilities include:

  • Functional lead or software implementation manager to implement the company’s flagship CIPAce™ software; 
  • Management consulting such as extensive CIP (Capital Improvement Program) management process review, workflow improvements, data management recommendations; 
  • Business process analysis on software implementation project team; 
  • Defining product strategies and reviewing software requirement specifications; 
  • Working with sales to Identify new opportunities to up-sell existing products; 
  • Providing add-on management consulting services to customers; 
  • Sales engineering support, such as product demonstration and follow-on business process discussions to sales team on new sales opportunities; 
  • Providing software improvement ideas for product development; 
  • Ability to travel. 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience in developing and managing capital improvement programs, plans, and/or budgets within a government agency or major corporation; 
  • Knowledge of project, program and portfolio management, planning, budgeting, accounting and business processes; 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; 
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss, understand, and document business processes and needs; 
  • Ability to understand and manage customer expectations; 
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (preferably Agile) and tools; 
  • A quick learner and diligent; 
  • Working knowledge of sophisticated business applications and relational databases; 
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector highly desired; 
  • Minimum experience required is 3 years in managing capital programs and a bachelor’s degree.
